Licensed REALTOR® Since 2006
Laci Barnard
Team Leader & Founder, Black Diamond Real Estate Group
Laci is a second-generation REALTOR® — real estate isn't a career she found later, it's one she grew up inside of. She leads the Black Diamond team with the same thing that drew her to the business as a kid: an honest love of people, and the numbers actually add up.
Second-Generation REALTOR®
Around real estate since she was a kid.
Laci didn't come to real estate through a career change or a class she happened to take. She grew up around it, watching what the work actually looked like long before she ever got licensed herself. That upbringing shaped how she runs Black Diamond today: less about chasing a sign-in-yard photo op, more about doing right by the people on the other side of the deal.
The Financial Side, Demystified
She speaks fluent numbers, not just marketing.
Before real estate was her full focus, Laci held a loan officer license — which means she understands financing, monthly payments, and cash-to-close from the lender's side of the table, not just the agent's. For sellers, that same instinct carries over to understanding what you actually walk away with, not just what a home sells for.
Licensed REALTOR® since 2006
Former licensed loan officer — fluent in financing, payments, and cash-to-close
Probate & complex transaction experience — comfortable where other agents get nervous
Waterfront & coastal specialist across the Clear Lake & Galveston Bay area
Team Leader & Founder, Black Diamond Real Estate Group
I love this Bay Area — the water, the people, the pace. When I'm not working, I'm usually out on the boat or outside with my family. I'm a wife and mom of two teenagers — married 14 years, together 16 — and being part of this community isn't separate from my work here — it's the whole reason I do it the way I do.

Why Clients Work With Laci
She'd rather teach you than sell you.
Laci genuinely likes people — which shows up as patience, not just friendliness. She'd rather take the time to explain how financing works, what a contingency actually means, or why a number on paper isn't the whole story, than rush you to a signature. Community involvement matters to her for the same reason: this isn't a market she just works in, it's one she lives in.
